Une petite gâterie de moi à moi

Ce soir je vous avoue quelque chose: je suis folle des boutons! Mais bon, vous avez sans doute déjà remarqué que j'en utilise souvent sur mes pages.

Ça fait quelques mois déjà que je fouine sur la boutique en ligne australienne Purple Pumpkin. Ils ont tellement de beaux boutons originaux! Mais comme je n'avais pas de compte Paypal (eh oui, pour une raison inconnue, j'hésitais à m'ouvrir un compte!), je me contentais de baver sur mon ordi en regardant ces petites merveilles sans jamais en commander. Mais ce matin j'ai décidé que c'était assez, que je méritais bien une petite gâterie pour oublier l'affreux temps pluvieux! Je me suis donc créé un compte Paypal et je me suis commandé ces magnifiques boutons. J'ai tellement hâte de les recevoir!!!

Tonight I confess you someting: I'm crazy about buttons! But eh, you probably already noticed that I used them a lot on my pages.

For a few months now, I was hangging on the Australian online store Purple Pumpkin. They have such beautiful and original buttons! But as I didn't own a Paypal account (for some reason I was hesitant to have one), I contented myself by drooling on my computer while looking at those wonderful goodies without ever ordering. But this morning I decided that is was enough and that I deserve a little treat to forget about the horrible rainy weather! So I opened a Paypal account and ordered myself those beautiful buttons. I can't wait to receive them!

Le douloureux processus créatif de ma page un Cheeze {Burger} Bacon en aura valu la peine... Eh oui, grâce à cette page, je suis sur la liste des "Most Wanted" pour le cas 39! Je suis vraiment contente, surtout que je n'étais pas trop certaine du résultat lorsque je l'ai finie.

Let me take 2 minutes to brag a bit this morning. It seem that the painful creative process I went through to do my LO called Cheeze {Burger} Bacon has been worth it... Yes, this page is on the Most Wanted list for case 39! I'm very happy about it, especially thaht I wasn't so sure about the result when I finished this page.

Here is how I solved the case #39 at CSI.

La combinaison de cette palette de couleurs et de cette photo m'a donné le goût d'essayer quelque chose d'un peu plus "free style" que ce que je fais normalement. J'ai souffert un peu, mais en bout de ligne j'ai bien aimé l'exercice!

This color scheme combined with this photo made me feel like trying something more free style than I usually do. I suffered a bit, but finally I liked the exercise!

My journaling tells the funny story of how I received this (only cheeze and bacon in a bun) after ordering a cheeze bacon combo instead of a cheeze BURGER bacon combo during a vacation in the US last year. Lesson of the day: the short "cheeze bacon" is used only in Québec! Happily, my husband had a Big Mac so he gave me one of his meat balls. We had such a great laugh!
